She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Marsman and Mary Bailey; her husband Deacon Donald Williams; her brothers, Wallace Bailey (Doris), Alfred Bailey (Dorothy) and James Bailey (Marjorie); her half-sister Lilian Marsman Niles (Joey); and her brother Lorne Richard "Buddy" Marsman.

She is survived by: her children, Donna Stephenson (late Dickie), Betty Forman (Ralph), Edgar Williams (Carol) and Sheldon Williams (Patti); and her grandchildren, Clinton Williams (Cindy), Elizabeth Williams, Jermaine Williams, Wesley Williams (Alex), Corey Forman (Morgan), Chana Pickles, Adam Forman, Craig Desmond (Liza Jane), Shelby Williams and Todd Williams (Emma).

Memorials can be made to Cobequid Road United Baptist Church, The Lung Association of Nova Scotia and the Canadian Cancer Society.
