He was predeceased by : his parents, Augustine Arsenault and Edith Arsenault. He is survived by : his close friend Donna Muggah; his stepdaughter Lisa Crowe; his sons, Troy Arsenault (Mala) and Chad Arsenault; his stepson Travis Muggah (Brittany); and his brother Kevin Arsenault (Tina). He is also survived by five grandchildren.

Until Covid, he played baseball and was on two pool leagues.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Diabetes Association of Nova Scotia.
