Barbara Pearl Hinks Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Pearl Hinks (Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia), who passed away on August 25, 2021 at the age of 99. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Barbara Pearl Hinks to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Curtis and George Curtis; her husband Norman Hinks; her grandson Mark O'Neill; her daughter Caroline; and her stepsiblings, Marion, Floss, Gord, Irene, Dorothy, Dan, Llewellyn, Jenny, Eva, Daisy and Adeline.

She is survived by: her children, Shirley O'Neill (John), Wayne Hinks (Tippi) and Lewis Hinks (Valerie); her grandchildren, Johnny O'Neill, Christopher Brown (Donna), Angela Malay, Stacey Hinks (Dirk), Leah Alison (Craig) and Ian Hinks; her great grandchildren, Tyler, Hannah, Marin, Isabelle and Maya; and her siblings, Norman Hunt and Shirley Musseau. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was fortunate to be able to have visits (long-delayed by COVID) with her youngest great-grandchildren shortly before her death.
