With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernard William MacIntosh (Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia), born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, who passed away on July 9, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen MacIntosh and Naomi MacIntosh (Jackson); his siblings, Lester, Patrick, Joseph and Lena; and his half-sister Annie Mae Borden.

He is survived by: his wife Colleen MacIntosh (Brine); his children, Marlene (Sid Hovland), Gary (Sheri), Stephen (Dianne) and Joanne (Ron Thomas); his grandchildren, Quinton, Brandie, Christopher, Ashley, Ryan, Tyler and Jennifer; his great grandchildren, Denver, Blair, William, Sam, Finley, Wyatt and Lilyanna; his sister Kay Henderson; and his half-brothers, Clarence "Buddy" Jewels and Raymond Jewels.

Donations in Bernie's name may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's.
