He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Dominey and Hazel Dominey (Welsh); and his siblings, Stanley, Delancy, Gerald, Vaughn, Robert, Raymond, Marjorie and Gladys.

He is survived by: his wife Sylvia (Reid); his daughters, Tracy Comeau (Lucien), Dartmouth Matheson and Sonya Matheson (Bruce); his grandchildren, Keith Partridge of Truro, Dominique Comeau of Ottawa and Zachary Comeau of Halifax; his great grandchildren, Xavier and Maxim Partridge; and his siblings, Ivan (Black Rock), Joseph of Berwick, Marguerite Dennis (Carl) of Coldbrook, Betty Pinch, Wolfville and Shirley Dominey.
