He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel "Danny" and Mary Ferguson (Coleman); and his siblings, Ronnie Ferguson and Carmel Williams. He is survived by: his wife Joan Ferguson (Inkpen); his daughters, Janice (Mike Altaweel) and Lisa Young (Darren); his grandchildren, Lauren (Nikki Nelson), Ryan, William, Ben Altaweel, Claire and Jared Young; and his siblings-in-law, Maura and Joe Williams. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the funeral service will be by invitation only.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
