Delphis Joseph Roy Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Delphis Joseph Roy (Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia), born in Cap-Chat, Québec, who passed away on September 13, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Telesphore and Amanda Roy; his wife Edith; his son Wade; and his siblings, Paul-Emile, Madeline and Jacqueline.

He is survived by: his children, Julia Roy (Scott), John Roy (Kathy), Carole Hope (Jamie) and Ruth Roy (Terry); his grandchildren, Megan, Joshua, Jennifer, Nicholas, Linsey, Scott and Brian; and his great grandchildren, Cooper, Lucy, Trent, Fynn, Keith, Mabel and Everett.

During the pandemic, he entertained the residents at Parkland with impromptu concerts.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Delphis can be made to the Local Red Cross.
