It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diane Nowell (Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia), born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 12, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Rita Forrest and Paul Forrest. She is survived by : her husband Steve; her siblings, Michelle Reid (Warren) and Blair Forrest (Paula); her nephew Dan McDonald (Rebecca); her niece Julianne Townley; her mother-in-law Ann Nowell; her siblings-in-law, Susan Nowell and Mike Nowell (Barb); and her nieces, Victoria Nowell and Katheryn Nowell.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Atlantic Funeral Home Sackville Chapel (125 Sackville Dr, Lower Sackville, NS B4C2R3). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the St. John Vianney Church (4 Beaver Bank Rd, Lower Sackville, NS B4E1G3). A reception was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location.

Donations may be made in Diane's memory to Operation Smile Canada, or to Holy Trinity Church.
