She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Sangster and Cora Sangster; her son Peter Ernst; her brothers, Charles, Harris, Gordon and Willard; her granddaughter Natalie; and her great grandchildren, Joshua and Baby Shannon.
She is survived by: her husband John; her sisters, Helen Nickerson and Ruby Andrews; her daughter Beverly Doucette (Jim); her grandchildren, Dan Doucette (Sherissa), Joanna Shannon (Dan), John Doucette (Brooke), Matt Doucette (Lisa) and Tim Ernst; and her great grandchildren, Ella, Elijah, Willow, Sage, Gemma, Jason and Evie.
