It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Joseph Findlay (Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia), born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 25, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Findlay and Marie Findlay (Squires); and his brother Arthur. He is survived by: his friends, Pete and Helen MacDougall of Pictou; his wife Marie; his sons, Doug Jr. (Mary), Bruce (Angela) and Glenn (Karen); his grandchildren, Amanda, Adam, Emma, Jack, Noah, Shannon and Kayla; his great grandchildren, Mylah and Henry; and his siblings, George and Shirley Kane. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Donations to this wonderful new facility are both deserved and welcome.
