He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Boyd and Eliza Boyd (Martell); his siblings, Viola Sampson, Carl and Gordon; and his siblings-in-law, Jules Sampson and Constance Boyd.
He is survived by: his wife Jean (Reid); his children, Karen (Dave Pottier), Edward Jr. (Michelle) and Kevin (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Morgan, Nathan and Tyler; and his great grandchild Ryder. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters in law.
