It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eleanor Marie Chamberlain (Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia), born in North Sydney, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 19, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Harold; her son Richard; her mothers, Violet Strickland and Eva Ongo; and her brothers, Tom Strickland, Joe Strickland, Fred Ongo and Donnie Ongo.

She is survived by: her daughter Linda Mahar; her son-in-law George; her son Roger Chamberlain; her grandchildren, Shannon Brown (Jason), Richard Mahar, Jamie-Lynn Chamberlain (Joe Gail) and Kelly Dunafan (Stephen); and her siblings, Louise Ongo (Harris), Yvonne Moffatt, Marlene Anderson, Frank, Leo, Lloyd (Adrianne), Johnny Ongo and David Autin (Lillian).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the IWK Children's Hospital.
