We are sad to announce that on October 25, 2018, at the age of 93, Florence Gertrude Wrixon (Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia), born in Halifax, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent George McDow; her husband Gordon; her grandsons, Kristopher Johnny and B. C. Johnny; and her son-in-law Carl Barlow.
She is survived by: her parent Gertrude McDow; and her children, Shirley Marriott (John), Margaret Barlow, Lower Sackville, Sheila Hix (Ted), Thomas Wrixon (Jean), Parrsborro and George Wrixon TimberTrail. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Donations in Florence's memory may be made to the Diabetes Association or the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Association.
