He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hardy and Olive Hardy (Keeping); and his siblings, Chesley, Louise May, Christine Meaney and Jeanette Hardy.

He is survived by: his wife Gladys Hardy (Caines); his daughter Simone Hardy; and his brother Everett Hardy (Beatrice). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
