Helen Fraser Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Fraser of Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia, born in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, who passed away on November 2, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Violet Melanson and Langille; her children, Janice Fraser (Debbie), Donald Fraser and Sandy Fraser (Pam); her grandchildren, Tracy Wright (Mike), Erin Wright (Kory), Justin Wright (Lindsey), Amy Grinter (Jason) and Matthew Fraser; her brother James Melanson (Lynne); her sister-in-law Anne Melanson; her nieces, Tibby Burgess and Pam Melanson; her husband Gerald Fraser; her daughter Grace Conatser (Fraser); and her brothers, Milton Melanson (Mickey), David Melanson and Chester Melanson (Hooley). She was also cherished by nine great-grandchildren.

She overcame great loss, won a battle against cancer and c-difficile ten years ago, survived a broken neck four years ago, and made it through the COVID-19 outbreak at Northwood.
