He was predeceased by : his nephew Spencer Strickland; his uncle Bill; and his aunt Myrtle Coombs. He is survived by : his wife Elma; his children, Denise and Darrin; his grandchildren, John (Marie), Shelby, Carly and Julliette; his siblings, Matthew Bedford (Barbara), William Halifax (Rowena), Donna Halifax (Doug Marchand) and Susan Halifax (Ed Boutilier); and also Lucie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
