With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Lee Sears of Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia, born in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 17, 2021 at the age of 80. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Lee Sears to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Sears and Fanny Sears (Lee); his sisters, Geraldine and Yvonne; and his grandson Rylee Sears.
He is survived by: his wife Ethel (Hall); his children, Cheryl Deveaux (William), Heather Sears (Darrell) and Kevin Sears (Holly); his grandchildren, Shannon Hodder (Jeff), Willow MacDonald, Caitlin Deveaux (Liam), Morgan Deveaux (Gabriel), Joshua Sears and Madison Sears; his great grandchildren, Eva and Jaxon Hodder; and his sibling's children, MarinaLee Anstey (Wes), Gerald Speranza (Joanne), Anthony Speranza (Pat), Eric Anstey (Sarah) and Evan Anstey (Jennifer).
Memorial Service will be held for Family only due to Covid -19 restrictions on Thursday April 22 at 11 AM in Atlantic Funeral Home 125 Sackville Drive, Lower Sackville.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to The Canadian Cancer Society Nova Scotia Division or Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
