We bid farewell to Joseph Edward MacDonald of Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 21, 2025 at the age of 88. Joseph Edward touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward MacDonald and Mary MacDonald (Breen); his siblings, Barbara MacDonald and Jimmy MacDonald; and his sister-in-law Linda MacDonald.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Ratto (Bill), Kevin MacDonald (Shelley Hickey) and Jason MacDonald (Jaime White); his former wife Sheila Hamilton; and his siblings, Viola Carmichael (Frank), John MacDonald and Ronnie MacDonald (Alvina). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
