She was predeceased by: her parents, Daisey Ackerly and Clarence Ackerly; her husband Autho Downey; and her children, Dennis Downey and Beverley Wallace.

She is survived by: her son Roy Downey (Brenda); her grandchildren, Susan Downey-Lim, Shelley Downey, Patsey, Elizabeth, Sarah Wallace, Dean, Aaron and Colin Downey; her great grandchildren, Sarah Downey, Jake Downey and Simon Dugas; her great great grandchildren, Jase Downey and Rae Lim; and her sister Evelyn Warren of Moncton.
