With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ellen Barker of Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia, born in Ramea, Newfoundland, who passed away on May 11, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Young and Rosanna Young (Rose); and her siblings, Jessie, George, Wilfred, Charles, Maxwell and Samuel.
She is survived by: her pet Cove of Newfoundland; her husband Benjamin; her children, Robert (Christina), Richard (Jennifer) and Catherine Johnson (Tim); and her grandchildren, Eryn, Ryan, Dena, Elyse, Tony, Matthew, Alyssa, Chantal and Cory.
