She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh O'Byrne and Gladys O'Byrne (Rodgers); her brother Hugh O'Byrne; her husband Samuel Walker; and her son Hugh Walker.
She is survived by: her children, Samuel Walker (Terry), David Walker (Lesslie) and Joanne Walker (Sam Headayati); her grandchildren, Michael Walker (Natasha) and Ashley LeBlanc (James); and her great grandchildren, Grayson Walker, Coleton Walker, Oliveah Walker and Everly LeBlanc. She is also survived by her family and friends.
She was awarded a medal by HRM for her contribution to the community.
