Otis James Bright Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Otis James Bright of Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia, born in Weymouth, Nova Scotia, who passed away on August 14, 2023, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Francis Hatfield (Howe) and Doreen Hatfield; his wife Gina Bright (Matthews); his children, Otayah, Gitais and Ginaseis; his siblings, Josephine (Tara) of Weymouth and Luke of Dartmouth; his son Jermel Fraser; his siblings, Larky, Tara, Tonya, Craig, Lisa, Owen, Yolande, Whitney, Coleius, Troy and Robert; his friend Otis; his siblings-in-law, Patrick (Nicole), Jonathan (Tanya) and Cynthia (Steve); and his niece Sarah Paige Rose Hatfield. He is also survived by grandparents, many adored uncles, aunts, cousins, a nephew.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Otis may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
