It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Percy Almon Carvery Sr. (Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia), who passed away on September 13, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Carvery and Rosella Carvery (Sparks); his wife Vivian Maxine Carvery (Warrington); and his siblings, Earl, Edward Carvery, Rose Grant, Grace Byers and Carol Toussaint.
He is survived by: his children, Lynn (Ontario), Percy Jr. (Brenda), Elden (Leona), Ada (Cory), Brenda (Stephen) and Robert Cave; his grandchildren, Marcell, Danielle, Shannon, Kadeem, Brandy, Vanessa and Chucky; his great grandchildren, Sean, Rheanna, Isaac, Jayce and Bryson; his sisters, Evelyn Lawrence of Dartmouth, NS, Marie (Lee), Sorrells (California) and Lorraine Stewart (Quebec); his friend Gerald Wells; and his cousin Stanley "Smiley" Carvery.
All attendees are required to wear a mask during service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Africville Scholarship Fund and Cobequid Rd Baptist Church.
