With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Joseph Michael Blakeney of Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia, who passed away on August 19, 2020 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret (Harris); his parents-in-law, Emma and Kenneth Boehmke; his stepmother Ida; and his daughter Jill.
He is survived by: his wife Janet (Boehmke); his daughters, Sherri (Aaron Boutilier), Erin (David Jones) and Holly (Jason LeBlanc); his grandchildren, Cooper, Addison, Alexandra and Sophie; his father Kenneth; and his sisters, Sharon (Klaus Schoener) and Barbara (George Zimmerman). He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 23 from 4-6pm at First Sackville Presbyterian Church, mandatory mask and social distancing protocols will be followed.
