He was predeceased by: his parents, George Fancy and Ruth Fancy (Lowe) of Bedford, NS.; and his siblings, Noreen Davidson, Pauline Dauphinee, Debbie Fancy and Farrell Fancy.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara (McCully); his children, Dean (Mary-Beth) and Tammy Devine; his grandchildren, Jacob, Matthew, Olivia and Jenna; and his brothers, Ford Dutch Settlement (Judy) and Terry Elmsdale (Jane). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
