He was predeceased by: his wife Tina (Banfield); his parents, Gerald and Dorothy (MacDonnell); and his siblings, Gerald, Francis, Douglas, Billy, George, Jimmy and Ann (Smallshaw).

He is survived by: his sons, Mike (Cindy) and Brian (Crystal); his grandchildren, Diane, Darlene, Brandon, Melissa, Jordan, Justin and Austin; his great grandchildren, Hunter, Addison, Brayden, Alexa, Ridge, Cohen and Alivia; his siblings, Edythe Cooke (Wayne) and Art; and his sisters-in-law, Gertie, Libby, Shirley and Sheila.
