It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sheree Barbara Anne Walsh (Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia), born in Arichat, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 5, 2024, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald Puddister and Ruth Puddister; and her brother Ronald Puddister. She is survived by: her husband Craig Walsh; her children, Blair Crane, James Walsh (Stephanie), Sarah Penney (Justin) and Justin Walsh (Sarah); her sisters, Tanya Saunders (Gary) and Kerri-Lee Puddister; her siblings-in-law, Joan Puddister, Noreen (Adel), Tracey (Andrew), Stephen and Michael (Debbie); her parents-in-law, James and Daphne Walsh; and her friend Karen Barrett. She is also survived by 3 brothers, numerous nieces and nephews along with 14 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Sheree may be made to a memorial fund being set up by her husband, Craig, towards creating an athletic achievement award in women's sports, something that was so important during Sheree's lifetime.
