He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen Garnett; his daughter Beverley Ann Lively; and his siblings, Rose of Anne, Lawrence, Harry and Lewis.
He is survived by: his son Richard (Maureen); his siblings, Emma Garnett and George Garnett of Halifax, NS; his grandchildren, Morgan (Josh), Alex, Mark (Dustin), Melissa (Sarah) and Melinda; his great grandchild Clara of Neta, Levi; and his son-in-law Mark Levi Lively (Lynn).
