She was predeceased by : her parents, John MacMillan and Phyllis Marian Wilkes (Allen) of New Glasgow; and her brother John. She is survived by : her husband George; her sons, Andrew (Leanne) of Dartmouth and Brandon (Adrienne) of Beaver Bank; her granddaughters, Cameron and Charlie; and her siblings, Harry of Amherst, Marian Tomlik (George) of Lower Sackville and Janet Deveau (Marcel) of Kings Head.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Susan can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Society.
