He was predeceased by: his parents, William Tanner and Mary Tanner (Langille); his wife Viola (Lola); and his daughter-in-law Lorraine. He is survived by: his children, Nancy Tanner (Darren Fahie), Robert (Freda Martin), Richard (Linda) of Martin's Brook, Gary (Kim), Rayburn "Peter" (Rose Mary) of Schnare's Crossing and Lawrence "Lucky" (Ann). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
