He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Dares and Annie "Lowie" Cook Dares; and his siblings, Glen Dares and Sandra Allen. He is survived by: his wife Eva (Corkum); his children, Brian (Catherine) and Nadine Saunders (Steven); his siblings, Annette Hirtle and Merrill (Linda); and his grandchildren, Adam, Jeffery, William, Ian and Ryan. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Fred's memory may be made to the Bayport Cemetery, Fishermen's Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg or to a charity of your choice.
