He was predeceased by : his parents, Greville Tanner and Maude Tanner (Tanner); his siblings, Ray Tanner (Ruby Tanner), Cecil Tanner, Creighton Tanner, Barbara Dominey (Walter Dominey), Amy Tanner, Chris Tanner and Katherine Ann Tanner; and his grandparents, Cecil and Roberta Walters of Garden Lots.
He is survived by : his daughters, Melinda Dorey (Leo) of Martin's River, NS and Tammy Tanner-Ottens (Jerry Mahar) of Garden Lots, NS; his grandchildren, Caitlyn Dorey (Adam Lambert) of Bedford, NS, Ryan Dorey of Halifax, NS, Madison and Sophie Ottens of Garden Lots, NS; his great grandchild Elodie Lambert of Bedford, NS; and his sister-in-law Sylvia Tanner. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
