He was predeceased by: his father Clayton Strickland; and his brother Dannie. He is survived by: his mother Louise Strickland (Blue Rocks); his girlfriend Marilyn Moore; his sibling's children, Lauren Strickland-Bird (Jame Bird) and Riley Strickland; and his great-niece Peyton Strickland-Bird. He is also survived by three goldendoodles.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 4th 2026 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home (11213 Nova Scotia Trunk 3, Lunenburg, NS B0J 2C0). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
