It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Karen Doreen Colp of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on August 23, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Lawrence Wentzell and Doreen Wentzell (Higdon); her husband Edward; and her brother Robert. She is survived by : her daughter Lindie Colp-Rutley (Ken); her granddaughters, Michaela and Stella; her brother Gilbert; and her sisters-in-law, Linda Wentzell and Mary Wentzell.

“My thoughts and prayers are with Lindie and her family. Karen was loved, she had the most generous heart and always made me laugh. Since she has been sick, I missed our conversations over tea and muffins. I am glad she is no longer suffering and I hope she is smiling next to Uncle Eddy in heaven. I will miss her. Love Angie.”
