With solemn reverence, we commemorate Lawrence Robert Corkum of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, born in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, whose life came to an end on August 31, 2024 at the age of 81, leaving behind cherished memories. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leaman Corkum and Hazel Corkum (Mason); his siblings, Judy and Alfred; his brother-in-law John Brake; and his great-niece Michaela Whynot.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Ann; his children, Diane Heisler (Keith) and Robert (Sharon); his grandsons, Jeremy Corkum (Kayla) and Blaine Heisler; his great grandchild Lucas Corkum; and his brothers-in-law, Stephen Russell (Hilda) and James Russell (Heather). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and grand nephews.

A memorial service was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Barnabas Anglican Church (64 Townsend St, Lunenburg, NS B0J2C0).

In lieu of flowers, family would appreciate memorial donations being made to the VON, Lunenburg and District Fire Department, St. Barnabas Anglican Church or a charity of your choice.
