He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Kathleen (Bustard); and his brother Brian. He is survived by: his wife Shelley (Thomas); his children, Brian (Reiko Ayettey), Derek (Ann Carmichael) and Debbie (Bob Parsons) of Ottawa; and his brother Ian Nesbitt (Rosemary). He is also survived by four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to SHAID Tree Animal Shelter or Feed Nova Scotia would be appreciated by the family.
