He was predeceased by: his parents, George Black and Flora Black (Miller); his stepmother Jean Black; and his brother George. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his sons, Stephen (Pam) and Richard; his grandchildren, Robyn, Samantha, Rachel, Chloe and Meredith; his sister-in-law Mary Black; his nieces, Catherine Hubbards (Spencer) and Shelley Brownson (Barry); his great-nephews, Morgan, Cameron Hubbards and Lufkin; and his great-niece Emma Hubbards.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home (11213 Nova Scotia Trunk 3, Lunenburg, NS B0J 2C0).
