Veronica Janet Hodder Obituary

In loving memory of Veronica Janet Hodder of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, born in Harbour Breton, Newfoundland, who departed this world on June 6, 2025 at the age of 57. As we bid Veronica farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Veronica is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She is survived by: her parents, Mary Feener (Gary) of Chester, NS and Bill Hickey (Ruth) of Bishop's Falls, NL; her siblings, Cathy "Sissy" Hickey of Lunenburg, NS, Kayla Hickey of Paradise, NL and Pat Hickey of Ontario; her daughters, Kristy Hodder (Daniel) of New Minas and Karly (Marcus) of Halifax, NS; her granddaughter Julia; her niece Kelsie (Shawn) of Lunenburg; her aunt Mary; and her uncle Cliff Jackman of Harbour Breton, NL. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Faye's memory can be made to SHAID Tree Animal Shelter, a cause close to her heart.
