She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Chant and Elizabeth Chant (Holland); her husband Charles "Maxwell"; her children, James and Alfreda Savoury; her grandson Myles MacIntosh; her great grandchild Logan Savoury; her brothers, Walter, Charlie, Foster and Gordon; and her sons-in-law, Charles Whynot and Bill Ringer.
She is survived by: her children, Ethel Ringer, Stella Whynot, New Minas, Eugene (Donna) of Wallaceburg, ON, Shirley Nicoll (Frank), Lorna Swansburg (Richard), Peggy MacIntosh (Bobby), Dan (Derek) of Toronto, ON and Robert (Natasha); her son-in-law Norman Savoury (Belleoram); her sister Alalia Carter (Peter) of Port Lampton, ON; and her sister-in-law Darlene Chant. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren.
