Anne Marie MacDonald Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anne Marie MacDonald of Mabou, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 12, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Mary Gillis (MacLellan) and Alexander Gillis (Donald Finley); her siblings, Olive Gillis, Alexander Gillis, Donald Gillis and Angus Gillis; her nephews, Terry Swaysland and Ben Gillis; and her brother-in-law Dennis MacDonald.

She is survived by : her husband Hugh MacDonald; her family, Inverness Manor and J. R. of Millan's Store; her children, Keith MacDonald (Nadine Wambolt), Dennis MacDonald (Georgia Skardasi), Sylvia MacDonald and Bonny Jean MacDonald (Dale Cameron); her grandchildren, Eva MacQuarrie, Morgan MacQuarrie, John Finley Cameron, Hughie Cameron, Angelos MacDonald and Odysseas MacDonald; her godchildren, Elliot MacDonald and Shannon Thomas; her siblings, Stewart Gillis (Mary), Earl Gillis, John Gillis, Stephen Gillis (Mary), Archie Gillis (Ruth), Josephine Gillis, Mary Gillis (Steve), Minnie Gillis, Rhoda Mills (Stan), Cassie MacDougall (Suey), Susan Gillis, Hughena Parlee and Theresa Wilcox; and her sisters-in-law, Anne Marie Thomas, Margaret Gillis, Annabelle Gillis and Kay Gillis.
