She was predeceased by : her parents, Malcolm MacDonald and Cassie MacDonald (Sandy Finlay); her husband Donald Francis; and her siblings, Finlay, Allister and Betty.

She is survived by : her daughter Donna; her son-in-law Stephen Doiron; her siblings, Catherine (late Alex), Christena (Chris), Jenny (Jack), Pat (Marie), Leo (Cassie) and Herbie (Gina); her stepgrandchildren, Jillian (Roy), Meghan (Wilker), Jonathan, Danielle and Caitlin (Alex); and her grandchildren, Garreth, Emily, Debbie, Stella and Gerard. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Those wishing to donate in Mom's memory can do so to the Arthritis Society of NS, The Alzheimer's Society NS or Inverary Manor.
