Donald Beaton Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald Beaton of Mabou, Nova Scotia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 1, 2026 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Beaton and Margaret Beaton (MacDonald); his siblings, Sally Boyle (Mickey), Flossie Larade (Alex), Alexander (Anne), John Dan (Monica), Sandy and William (Aged); his nephews, Billy Glanman and Patrick Larade; and his great-niece Emma Larade.
He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Catherine and Christene (Ronald MacDonald); and his sister-in-law Rosie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St. Mary's Church (32 MacDonald Rd, Mabou, NS B0E1X0). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's Parish Cemetery Fund.
