He is survived by : his wife Arlene MacNeil; his children, Josh, Teegan Antigonish (Hannah) and Kaylin; his siblings, Rebecca MacDonald (late Joe), Sandy MacNeil (Rosie), Janette MacNeil, Donald MacNeil, Mary Hoopy (late Don), Marion MacLean (late Big John), Lawrence MacNeil (Judy), Archie MacNeil (Margie), Ramona Miller (Barry), Neil MacNeil (Louise), David MacNeil (Darlene) and Vince MacNeil (Audra); his parents, Alex MacNeil and Mary Anne MacNeil; his brother Angus MacNeil; his brother-in-law Big John MacLean; and his nephew Bradley MacNeil.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Saint Mary's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Mabou or a charity of your choice.
