He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Cameron and Christena "Tena" Cameron (MacNeil) of Mabou; his wife Carlene (Habicht); and his siblings, Sandy (Pat MacPhee), Annie May, Rebecca (John Francis Cameron), Alexina, Catherine (Joseph Doyle), Anna Marie, Ena (Tommy Burke), Bernard (Jessie Kennedy), Angus Francis, Donald Francis, Frankie and Lawrence.

He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Debbie Larade (Arnold DeVouge) and Linda (Jamie MacEachern); his stepgrandchildren, Tammy, Wade and Jamie; his sister-in-law Dena Cameron; and his close friend Carlene. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
