She was predeceased by : her parents, Frederick Joseph and Florence Margaret Burke (LeBlanc); her son Desi; and her siblings, Fred and Leona Holt.

She is survived by : her husband Desmond; her children, Jeffrey (Rosann) of Beaverbank, NS, Jason (Niki) of Maccan and Donna (Scott) of Greater Lakeburn, NB; her daughter-in-law Kelley; her grandchildren, Alex, Nicholas, Nathan, Brody, Zackary, Ryan and Katie; and her siblings, Stephen Burke (Cheryl) of Amherst, Linda O'Brien of Amherst, Judy Dwyer (Earl) of Amherst, Debbie Burke of Amherst, Theda O'Brien (John) of Calgary, AB, Angela Carter (Bryan) of Amherst and Cathy Cook (Rick) of Lakeville, NB. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
