He was predeceased by : his parent David Ripley; his stepmother Lillian Ripley (Delaney); his children, Heather and Dean; his mother-in-law Amie; and his brother Dave.

He is survived by : his parent Hazel Ripley (MacFarlane); his children, Susan White (Don) of Port Howe, NS and Keith Ripley (Jill) of Maccan, NS; his grandchildren, Steve, Scott, Jeff, Stacey, Michael and Lori; his great grandchildren, Logan, Mya, Kiran, Samantha, Ella, Lyla, Dawson and Kaylin; his brother Warren (Ann); and also, North Carolina, Willie and Freddie (Sandy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
