He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth and Sydney; his half-brother David; and his former wife Dawn Daly Harvey. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Bayer of Mahone Bay; his daughters, Kathryn (Stanley Gabriel) and Heidi (Jay Haislip); his stepchildren, Michelle (John Andrews) and Michael (April); his grandchildren, Hunter, Holly, Tonya Haislip, Ella, Haley Andrews, Jacob and Emma Bayer; and his sibling's children, Carol, Kim and Wendy.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Room A/B From. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. James Anglican Church (65 Edgewater St, Mahone Bay, NS B0J2E0).
Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
