He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Rogers and Bernard Rogers; and his siblings-in-law, Bob Findlay, Henry Marchand and Donna Marchand.

He is survived by: his wife Deborah; his sons, Stephen and Daniel (Jordan); his granddaughter Lily; and his siblings, Gary (Cindy), Norma Findlay, Carol Rogers, Gail Kenney (Barry) and Coleen Youden (Darrell).

A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the St. Ignatius of Layola Parish.

No flowers, please. Those wishing to make a donation may contribute to St. Norbert's Roman Catholic Church in Lunenburg, the Indian Point Fire Department, or SHAID in Lunenburg County.

While it’s been many years since then, Bernie has always lived in our hearts as the most wonderful neighbour and friend. He was always ready to lend a hand or offer thoughtful advice.
