The memory of Elva Pearl Grimm (Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia), who passed away on March 31, 2026 at the age of 106, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Eichel and Jessie Eichel (Stoddart) of Falkland Ridge; her former husband Allister Eisenhauer; her husband Maxwell Grimm; her siblings, Alice Dorey (Elmer) of Blockhouse, Floyd (Kathleen) of Blockhouse, Alfred (Murial) of Ontario and Marcus Canning; and her nieces and nephews, Patricia Oickle of Ontario, Sylvia Blenus, Maxine Robar (Nelson) of Blockhouse, Keith Dorey and Milton Dorey (Dorothy).
She is survived by: her niece Diane Dorey; and her nephew Lloyd Blenus (late Sylvia Blenus).
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the United Baptist Church (56 Maple St, Mahone Bay, NS B0J2E0). A burial will be held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 at the Rest Cemetery.
In accordance with Elva's wishes, no flowers, please, also she requested no visitation. Donations may be made to a Baptist Church, South Shore Regional Hospital Gift Shop or a charity of your choice.
