He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Marshall and Dora Marshall; and his brothers, Earle (Lennie), Guy (Lorraine) and Vernon (Faye).
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Marshall; his daughters, Carolyn and Susan (Mike); and his grandchildren, Meghan (Neil), Rachel and Ceilidh (Matt).
He was a Municipal Councillor for the Town and Municipality of Digby and served on the Boards of the Digby General Hospital Foundation, Tideview Terrace, and the Annapolis Valley and Area Board of Trade.
